Lincoln HallFamily Reunification ProgramJob Description -Shift SupervisorUnder the supervision of the FRP Director, the AOD is responsible for all aspects of the 24-hour out-of-home treatment program, providing regular supervision to immediate subordinates following best practice standards and regulatory requirements to assure the development and provision of a safe, therapeutic environment for youth, employees, and visitors to the campus. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the design and implementation of the program and provides specific administrative oversight, training, and supervision responsibilities for the Cottages and Youth Care Workers. Areas of treatment include recreation, independent living, a therapeutic milieu, and regular attendance at work. ResponsibilitiesThe Shift Supervisor will function as part of a leadership team with administrators from within the Treatment Environment Program and in cooperation with leadership from the Family Reunification Program, Ives School, and other areas of Lincoln Hall. The Shift Supervisor will be part of the significant incident process in the FRP Program which entails writing reports and inputting the information into the system (UAC Portal). The Shift Supervisor will uphold the core values of the Agency: honesty, education, family, respect, and hope, while functioning as a responsible leader for providing safety and support within the Family Reunification Program, including but not limited to, the enforcement of the agency program and policies according to the Employee Handbook, regulatory requirements of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), program handbook, and other areas of oversight as required by agency contract or regulatory authority. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related human services preferred. A minimum of three years experience in program management required, non-profit experience preferred, with proven expertise in child and family welfare, residential treatment, juvenile justice, or related. Proven ability to interface with all levels of employees and promote teamwork, plan and deliver services, and make accurate assessments. Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills. Certification as a Trainer in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (6th Ed.); required upon 6-month review Certification as a Trainer in Mandated Reporter; required upon 6-month review. Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure. Must be resourceful and calm in emergencies. Ability to work independently and as a part of an interdisciplinary team. Must have tact, discretion, and experience handling sensitive and confidential information, while maintaining a professional approach.
