Our client is a global supplier of premium label solutions. They share their knowledge and experience so their customers can benefit from their insights, not only to improve the efficiency in production, but also to optimize the emotional characteristics of their packaging solutions. Their labels aren't just black and white and red all over. The company produces printed labels for product makers in markets such as home and personal care, wine and spirit, food and beverage, and specialty consumer goods.They are looking for a 3rd Shift Supervisor to manage, and coordinate to maintain safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards. You will provide leadership and management to the departments on individual shifts to achieve company's core strategies. It's a great foot in the door where you grow into a long-term career.Responsibilities:- Reports all safety concerns or issues to immediate supervisor- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.- Supervises the departments on specified shift to ensure effective and efficient operation of equipment and availability of necessary resources- Oversees and trains associates on all departmental procedures, quality procedures and all related work instructions, safety training and company policies- Advises managers on personnel issues- Responsible for working with Press Assistant(s) (as applicable) to support production schedule and applicable goals/KPIs on press- Be the team's primary resource for technical support, interpretation of criteria, and assist in decisions affecting the quality of product (press approvals)- Assist with evaluating the processes within the team and coordinates the implementation of necessary improvements- Develops team member's abilities so that they have the tools available to evaluate problems and technical issues in a logical and systematic mannerBase salary and generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k).
