Shift Supervisor

The shift supervisor must have some knowledge of child welfare system and congregate care. Individual must be well versed in behavior management with ability to provide supervision and counsel to youth daily; Ability to physically complete TCI/SCM/other program required training. Shift Supervisor is accountable for the physical/emotional safety of the environment while on shift. Additionally, responsible for leading the staff/resident teams utilizing the agency protocol and departmental procedure. Accountable for staff engaging youth academically and behaviorally. Shift Supervisor is responsible for the overall safety and movement of the resident/staff team within the unit. Education: Minimum High School diploma w/2 years of relevant experience working with vulnerable youth; AA degree in human services or related field preferred w/a minimum of 1-year experience.
