This is a full-time hourly position the pay range is $34-39 per hour. About You:This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accept tasks from the Port Engineer and plans/implements execution.
- Successfully and safely perform all maintenance onboard vessels up to, and including, motor overhauls, AC/DC electrical troubleshooting, and hydraulic steering system work.
- Ensure all aspects of safety during task execution.
- Issue company power tools to technicians to accomplish designated tasks. Ensure tools are returned before the end of the shift.
- Ensure company warranty procedures are followed.
- Ensure all shift paperwork is correctly completed and submitted.
- Important vessel information is communicated to other supervisors and the chain of command.
- Use of approved Hazmat required for Paints, Solvents & Cleaning Agents.
- Perform cleaning and custodial tasks of the vessels and property, including maintenance and construction tasks as assigned and minor engineering repairs and rounds as directed.
- Seek the highest levels of quality and professionalism.
- Work to achieve the highest levels of performance and productivity.
- Assist Port Engineer in ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
- Assist Port Engineer in ensuring vessel is always in an inspection-ready condition.
- Assist with filling water, bunkering fuel, connecting, and disconnecting shore power as directed.
- Advise Supervisor or Human Resources any changes of name, address, or work status as it affects your compensation, benefits, or employment.
- Accurately complete all documentation.
- Know and understand internal policy and external regulatory requirements that relate to your position and department.
- Additional job duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- HS Diploma
- Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Card), and/or ability to obtain and maintain.
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification, and/or ability to obtain and maintain.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Copy of DD214, if Veteran status.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with the passengers, guests, and fellow employees.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
- Marine mechanical and electrical experience are highly desired.
- Proven track record running a maintenance shift is highly desired.
- Proven track record of working successfully in a team environment.
