Shift SupervisorLitchfield, CTFull-Time, Hourly PositionABOUT THE JOB:The Shift Supervisorassists to the Program Director in ensuring program oversight, staff supervision, and day to day operations. This position will also provide support and guidance to the Youth Counselors/ Mentors by being an example of professional leadership within the program.
SCHEDULE AND RATE OF PAY:- Wednesday to Saturday 11:00pm-9:00pm (10-hour shift 4 days a week)
- 3-day weekend (Off Sunday, Monday and Tuesday)
- $22.28 per hour
- Overtime / Time and a half eligible
- Able to pick up additional hours if you'd like
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:- Minimum Associate's Degree (or 60 completed credits) - Required
- Minimum 1-year experience working with at-risk or court-involved adolescents in a Direct Care setting - Required
- Must have valid driver's license to utilize a company provided work vehicle - Required
- Proven experience working in a residential treatment program - Preferred
- Supervisory and strong interpersonal skills - Preferred
JOB DESCRIPTION CONTINUED:- Perform all duties of a CDRC Youth Mentor at an advanced level
- Model all strength-based services to staff including DBT-Lite and cognitive behavior interventions
- Assist Program Director in the supervision and oversight of CDRC Youth Mentors and assist with all scheduling issues
- Assist Program Director in the development of performance goals and annual evaluations for CDRC Youth Mentors
- Handle communications with outside entities, including medical emergencies, police, parents, staff, etc. during after business and weekend hours
- Regular and consistent attendance
