Protect company assets by observing gaming and non-gaming activities to ensure safety, integrity, security and company policies and procedures are followed.
- Observe gaming and non-gaming activity by monitoring electronic surveillance equipment to ensure compliance with applicable laws, procedures, regulations and rules and protect company assets from illegal or questionable activities.
- Detect cheating, theft, embezzlement, illegal activities and procedure/policy violations in all areas of responsibility.
- Prepare reports and/or verbalize the occurrence of unusual activities to the Surveillance Manager, Director and/or department heads as required.
- Compile and maintain evidence to assist the property or BGC in any legal actions, employment matters and/or arbitration/grievance proceedings that may arise.
- Know how to operate all equipment used by the Surveillance Department and utilize them to their fullest capacity.
- Review coverage completed by agents and have additional coverage added when needed.
- Assign task to agents to agents on a daily basis when needed.
- Train, coach, discipline, supervise and handle scheduling of department employees.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Three (3) years of practical surveillance experience and previous supervisory experienced preferred.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of all table games rules, procedures, and gaming regulations.
- Working knowledge of surveillance software and Microsoft Office programs such as excel and word.
- Knowledge of surveillance equipment.
- Must have knowledge of state regulations, departmental procedures and company policies.
- Must be an effective communicator and able to maintain proper order in escalated situations.
- Must be able to sit and remain alert for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications and/or licenses.
