Summary: The Shipper is responsible for wrapping, banding, labelling, and processing customer orders. The Shipper also loads orders onto trailers to ship to our customers. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Check in the truck drivers per C-TPAT regulations
- Wrap and label each shipment per customer requirements
- Place packing list with each order
- Enter billing information into system verifying all is correct before invoicing the customer
- Special handling for specific customers and export orders
- Load pallets securely in each truck
- Ensure that each bill of lading or master bill of lading is signed by driver before shipping
- Verify items/quantities match the order, bill the order and help load the items for Will Call customers
- Bill small pack orders via UPS, FED-EX, USPS
- Close out LTL and small pack in per the procedures
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use power lift equipment, manual pallet jack
- Basic Microsoft Office skills- 10 key a plus
- Proficiency with WMS and RF Scanner technology
- Normal warehouse working conditions
