Shipper
Duro-Last Roofing has an opening in their shipping department. All hourly employees receive WEEKLY PAY! This position is located in Kernersville, NC and offers a great working environment, excellent benefits, and opportunities for advancement.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret Bill of Ladings
- Verify manufactured goods are correct prior to packaging and follow all packaging standard operating procedures
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of parts prior to shipments leaving
- Operate various types of material handling equipment including a forklift, hi-low, and pallet jack
- Keep work area clean and neat to ensure there are no safety hazards and that the area is presentable for guests
- Using a scan gun to send complete and accurate orders to customers
- All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to work in a team and have initiative to get the job done
- Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screen, physical, and background check
- Bend, push, carry, lift up to 50 pounds
- Available to work up to a 12-hour shift and weekends when necessary
- Extensive forklift experience preferred
