Company Overview: We are a market leader in manufacturing large, complex structural investment castings, airfoil castings, and forged components used in jet aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines. We serve the aerospace, power, and general industrial markets.Position Overview: The Shipping and Receiving Operator is responsible for internal and external shipping of parts and equipment.Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload outside vendor shipments
- Prepare all proper documentation using internal computer lot control system
- Prepare final customer shipments including weighing, quantity verification, banding and loading on to common carrier trucks
- Maintain good housekeeping with dock, storage areas and equipment use
- Perform maintenance checklist on fork lift daily
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and may be substituted by experience
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a shipping & receiving environment.
- Ability to qualify and receiving certification on Fork Lift/ Tow Motor per internal training standards
- U.S. Person's Status is Required (Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Strong written and verbal communication
