Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality
- Distribute incoming materials to the proper department
- Complete daily receipts/shipments and their associated paperwork
- Package outgoing shipments and apply proper labeling
- Schedule shipments using FedEx or UPS Shipping manager
- Accurately process and document all incoming and outgoing parts and accessories shipments
- Safely load and unload delivery vehicles using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Organize and store parts and accessories in designated areas, ensuring items are properly labeled and easily accessible
- Prepare and package parts for shipment, including accurate labeling and proper packaging to prevent damage during transit
- Conduct routine inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure stock levels are accurate and properly maintained
- Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory issues to the Parts Manager
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to maintain efficient operations and excellent customer service
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies regarding shipping operations
IDEAL CANDIDATE POSSESSES THESE ATTRIBUTES:
- High school graduate or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and packages (up to 50 pounds)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments and maintaining inventory
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
