Job Description:

  • Demonstrates safety consciousness at all times and reports safety questions/concerns focusing and informing others about company safety practices and procedures.
  • Processes and monitors shipping and receiving transactions and documentation, including, but not limited to receipts, bills of lading, orders, confirming shipmentsfor specific customers to ensure timeliness and accuracy
  • Communicates effectively with transportation, OFR, management, co-workers, and customers choosing the proper media (phone, email, face-to-face)
  • Manages customer information using WMS and Microsoft Office Products and generates reports for customers per their requirements
  • Monitors damaged and/or on-hold product and notifies vendors and works with OFRs.
  • Works continuously responding to and delighting customers.
  • Handling all situations to establish win-win outcomes in the best interests of customers and the organization
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with internal and external customers Organizing workflow to exceed customers timeframes
  • Obtaining and evaluating all relevant information to handle product and serviceinquiries
  • Maintains close relationship with other functional areas and understands the big picture
  • Reconciles inventory in the WMS to customer system.
  • Works closely with inbound receiving team to manage vendor compliance and acts as a liaison between the customer and the customer's vendor tocommunicate (resolve) specific compliance issues

Education and Experience:Required 2 - 4 years of customer service in the Third-Party logistics Industry. Warehouse Management System (AS400) experience (Preferred). Microsoft Office software, data entry, and internet application experience. High School graduate or equivalent (Required). Associate's degree (Preferred)Minimum Physical Requirements Workweeks in excess of 40 hours may exist periodically through the year. Occasional weekend work. General office working conditions. Requires the ability to frequently sit and use hands in a repetitive motion on thecomputer. Occasionally requires the ability to lift/carry boxes up to 50 lbs.The physical demands herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
