Job Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the shipping and receiving process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and unload incoming shipments.
* Verify the quantity and quality of incoming goods.
* Store products in designated locations.
* Process outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling.
* Prepare shipping documents, such as bills of lading and packing lists.
* Maintain accurate inventory records.
* Follow safety procedures and regulations.
Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Forklift Certification a plus.
Experience:
* Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Physical fitness to lift, carry, and push heavy objects.
* Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
* Basic computer skills.
