Job Summary Our team-oriented shipping department is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. If you have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, this may be the position for you! IPG's Shipping & Receiving Clerk works in a busy warehouse environment managing the shipping and receiving functions. Job Functions

  • Create shipping labels using various programs including UPS, FedEx, and International Shipping etc.
  • Load and unload inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas
  • Responsible for receiving incoming shipments and verifying packing slips to materials received
  • Work with computer systems to record incoming materials and document material movement in and out of loading docks
  • Ensure all incoming deliveries matches company purchase orders
  • Store materials in assigned locations using cargo boards and pallets
Required Skills:
  • Good judgement and patience to pack material that is expensive and delicate
  • Ability to keep accurate, detailed records
  • Basic computer skills with good understanding of Excel
  • Must be able to comprehend FedEx and UPS software with training
  • Mechanical ability with power tools
  • Must be able to learn how to operate warehouse equipment such a pallet jack, fork truck with on-the-job training
  • Completing required tasks in accordance with ISO procedures and work instructions
  • Ability to lift between 40 - 60 pounds
  • Always adhering to all safety rules
  • Previous shipping experience preferred
Education:
  • High school education or GED needed with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
