The S&R Manager will be responsible for overseeing the shipping, receiving, and inventory process, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage audits, ensure compliance, and train S&R staff on best practices in reporting, tracking, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee and manage the company's inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tracking materials and supplies.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Compliance & Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and supply chain processes to identify and address discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure that all procedures meet current standards.
- Staff Training & Development:
- Develop and implement training programs for S&R staff on compliance, reporting, and tracking procedures.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to S&R staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Monitor and assess staff performance, providing feedback and opportunities for growth.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on inventory levels, compliance audits, and supply chain activities.
- Accurate documentation of all S&R processes and transactions.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, inventory control, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of compliance standards and regulations in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Experience with conducting audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Proven ability to train and mentor staff, with a focus on compliance, reporting, and tracking.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
