Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Location: San Jose, CA/Onsite

Duration: 4+ months

Pay Rate Range: $33.19 - $35.18/hr.

Job Responsibilities

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Shipping & Receiving/Distribution operation preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and written/verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint), plus Zoom (coordination of virtual meetings); proficiency with Oracle or similar financial receiving program.
• Ability to use key software currently being used including UPS ShipExec and Bear River (Bear Tracks); as well as follow all mail/package handling and security practices.
• General knowledge of SOX compliance and DOT regulations, LTL/Truckload and International Tariffs, Schedule B tariff codes, and ECO terms.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance for shipping of hazardous and non-hazardous materials both domestic and international.
• Physical requirements include ability to lift/carry at least 50 pounds.
• Valid Class A driver's license required to operate company owned vehicles as necessary.
