We continue to invest heavily in the best available manufacturing tools and equipment needed to adhere to Tate's world class standards and in keeping with our Planet Passionate sustainability strategy, our focus is on having minimal climate impact.We are excited by potentially welcoming you as part of our team as we continue to grow on a worldwide scale.About the RoleThe Shipping & Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all activities within the Shipping and Receiving departments including preparation, staging, and loading shipments and complete related paperwork to ensure on time shipments. Receive incoming material and properly enter it into the inventory system.What You'll Do
- Lead and assign work to all associates in the shipping and receiving departments.
- Ensure proper data entry of receiving material or shipment of material is entered into the inventory tracking system correctly.
- Coordinate and plan with trucking companies daily, weekly, monthly loads for competitive prices. Load and unload trucks properly and safely.
- Adjust inventory via negative balance sheets to ensure that inventory balance variances coordinate cycle counting results and reconciliation.
- Must possess and demonstrate good communication and telephone etiquette and skills. Coordinate customer returned material (RMAs).
- Track customer returned material from point of return to dispositions, completing all necessary paperwork.
- Assist Accounts Payable with invoice reconciliation when necessary.
- Track attendance and vacation for associates in the shipping and receiving department.
- Able to work in a team environment to include relieving other associates in instances of breaks, absenteeism, vacation or other production requirements.
- Maintains good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures.
- Work with all required levels of associates to resolve variances, including material handling, inventory associates, team leaders and/or supervisors.
- Include communication with cost accounting, scheduling and all needed support associates.
- Ensure all employees follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.
- Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
Additional Expectation
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What You'll Bring
- Warehouse and Shipping experience necessary
- Computer Skills, Good with Numbers, Filing, Forklift, Cycle Counting required
- Previous supervision experience required
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 5 lbs. and maximum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to operate the following equipment: Forklift, Overhead crane
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an 8-hour shift and work indoors/outdoors as needed.
- Must have current and valid Drivers' License.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
