Shipping Associate Hamel, MN Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill a direct hire Shipping opening with a company located in Hamel, MN. Interested candidates should have shipping experience in a manufacturing environment and Microsoft Office knowledge. Shipper Job Description:
- Package items per customer requirements and prepare for shipment.
- Utilize company computer system and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Ship prepared orders.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with company personnel and others.
Shipper Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years shipping experience in Domestic, International, LTL, and FTL
- Ability to lift and package large or irregularly shaped items effectively.
- Knowledge and understanding of international shipping documents preferred - Including Commercial Invoice, Cert of Origin, USMCA, SLI, and FTA's
- Intermediate computer skills with previous ERP software experience
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (Word and Excel)
- Read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to work accurately with numbers and instructions.
- Ability to work individually or as a team.
- Desire to learn new tasks and grow on the job.
Compensation for Shipper: The starting salary for this position is $20 to $23 per hour (DOQ).
