Location: Austin,MN, USA
SHIPPING CLERK-2nd SHIFT-AUSTIN PLANT
This position reports to Ivan Mendoza Ramirez, 2nd Shift Shipping Superintendent.
The work schedule for this position is Sunday to Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Start time is 2:00pm every two weeks. Overtime is required. Some weekend work is required. Flex time is not available.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The person in this position:
* Coordinates the loading of inbound and outbound trucks.
* Reconciles inbound and outbound shipments contents between operator entry and actual orders.
* Assists supervisors in monitoring inventory, code dates, paperwork completion, physical inventory sampling and other duties as assigned.
* Maintains accurate Warehouse, Cold Side AS/RS, Freezer and Loin Cooler inventory records.
* Assist transportation team as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
* High school education or the equivalent
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated use of strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
* Demonstrated problem solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to accurately add large columns of numbers quickly and accurately.
* Ability to learn plant based computer applications.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
* Must be able to work on your feet and tolerate working in a 40 environment.
* Experience with personal computers, Windows, and Excel.
Preferred
* Knowledge of company inventory control system.
