Shipping Clerk - 1st ShiftThe Job Center is now hiring a Shipping Clerk in Mason OH. This position is for a company that manufactures goose down products. Currently hiring full time employees for 1st shift! Clerical work experience required!Compensation of Shipping Clerk :
- 1st shift: $ 1 7 -$1 9 per hour based on experience
- Paid Weekly on Fridays
- Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and PTO.
Schedule of Shipping Clerk :
- 1st: 8 : 0 0 am- 4 :30 pm M-F
- Overtime Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities of Shipping Clerk :
- Prepare, process, and record all inbound shipments. Mainly UPS and FedEx orders.
- Review Available to Ship Reports to insure orders are shipped prior to cancel date.
- Report any shortages to Shipping Coordinator so production is aware of was product is needed to produce
- Submit orders for routing
- Schedule pick ups with local carriers
- Knowledge of working with UPS and Fedex
- Provide sales and customer services with freight estimates
- Prepare all labels and paperwork for all shipments
Requirements of Shipping Clerk :
- Proficient with MS Windows
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Basic understanding of computer software.
- Ability to comprehend verbal and written work instructions.
- A strong knowledge of company shipping and receiving procedures.
