Daily filing of shipment folders picks orders and creates BOL's
Maintain & have all paperwork ready for Dispatcher and Shipping Department
Process shipment paperwork and enter them to Dispatch shipping log
PGI all deliveries in SAP system on daily basis
Splitting trucks/material
Assume the backup position for Logistics and Dispatch Clerk when necessary.
Communicating with Order Management Specialist's via phone & email
Entering all notes associated with order confirmation
Scheduling appointments due for dispatching
Process all truck loads and customer picks up by ensuring deliveries are posted and documents are created (packing list, BOL, customs invoice). Assemble these documents and ensure paperwork is accurate.
Run daily SAP reports to monitor shipment completions.
Monitor the office window and direct drivers to the correct location for loading or unloading.
Assist Customer Service with all requests. Inform Customer Service of changes to shipments (backorders, truck full, etc.). Supply rate quotes for Customer Service Representative.
Process Fedex and UPS outbound shipments.
Run delivery due list for customer pick up's, small parcels, LTL's and include truckloads if time permits.
Create shipments in SAP.
Distribute work assignments to warehouse personnel.
Prepare and distribute shipping documents to drivers.
Other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience working in a distribution environment, preferably in an administrative type function.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel is required.
Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
