DescriptionThe Shipping Clerk supports Human Technologies' mission of Creating Employment forPeople with Disabilities by ensuring all orders are processed efficiently, accurately,effectively, through the HT shipping software and through the carrier's shipping software.Responsibilities:1. To process outgoing Uniform Program and manufacturing orders accurately and in atimely manner through HT and shipping software.2. Ships customer's orders in a timely basis and prepares shipping containers with labelsand packing slip for shipment.3. Prepare all finished goods for shipping to include: trucking paperwork, boxing, labelingand closing of containers.4. Pick orders and complete required inspection prior to shipping.5. Comply with safety policies and procedures for safety of self and others.6. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Order Fulfillment Supervisor.Requirements1. Able to stand for long periods of time, if necessary.2. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. properly.3. Must pass any required federal, state, municipality, and/or customer-specificbackground checks.
