Shipping Clerk
: Job Details :

Prepares shipments for delivery, responsible for receiving of parts and components, and assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Research contracts for packaging requirements. Prepares per packaging requirement instructions when required. Packages materials in accordance with contract or to effect damage free delivery as applicable. Processes small parcel shipments (i.e., United Parcel Service, Federal Express etc.). Maintains shipping supply inventory. Using computer generated MIL-STD identification and barcode labels as required. Retains shipping documents and records as required by company policy. Interfaces with Operations, Quality, and Accounts Receivable as required. Supports all other departments requiring shipping information or assistance.
