You deserve a job you love!Volt is immediately hiring a Shipping Clerk in Dallas TX.As a Shipping Clerk you will:* Packaging products in an efficient and orderly manner in accordance with all shipping procedures, packing slips, order acknowledgements, and customer requirements to meet delivery schedule and maintain product quality.* Accurately completes all necessary documentation in accordance with established procedures for both domestic and international shipments.* Coordinate with transportation companies to ship products and ensure on-time delivery.* Enters shipping information into carrier automated system to produce shipping labels and tracking information.* Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices and examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.* Accepts items into stock or releases items out of stock and records transactions using an ERP system.* Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment.* Performs kit pulls and/or fills orders or issues supplies from stock.* Tracks and verifies accuracy of inventory, counts and location, by physically counting and identifying inventory within specific locations.* Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments.* Participates in periodic cycle counts and/or physical inventories and maintains inventory records.This is a full-time, Temp to Hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:* High School diploma or GED and 2-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.* Valid Driver's License* Prior shipping experience preferred; international shipping is a plus.* Working knowledge of MS Office Suite required (Excel, Outlook, etc.)* Prior ERP experience preferred (IFS a plus)Pay Rate:Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
