**POSITION SUMMARY**
As a Shipping Clerk, you will be utilizing various warehouse management systems to facilitate and coordinate the entire shipping process. You will manage the daily flow of shipping, distributing orders to team members, troubleshooting systematic issues, and ensuring that orders are completed in a timely manner. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will use critical thinking skills and multitasking to ensure a smooth running of both the warehouse floor and yard.
*Must be open to working night shift (6:00 pm - 6:00 am)*
+ Utilizes SAP EWM (Enterprise Warehouse Management) and other internal systems to facilitate and coordinate the entire shipping process from distributing orders to team members, troubleshooting systematic issues, and ensuring that the order is completed in a timely manner.
+ Communicate inventory positions to warehouse and operations planning staffs as needed and make associated decisions.
+ Manage daily flow of jockey service and all live drivers for warehouse loads/unloads by utilizing various warehouse management systems and communication with guard services.
+ Ensure supervision is aware of product issues for quality and/or quantity and work proactively to mitigate any future issues with orders by ensuring data is accurate in the system
+ Prioritize loads on dock schedule effectively and with proper urgency to ensure on time loading.
+ Participate in daily operational reviews and support warehouse supervision and team in those efforts to improve efficiencies, safety and cost
**Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 1+ years' clerical and/or customer-service experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, military, or related fast-paced environment
The approximate range for this position is $37,000 - $52,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
