Job Location: BellwoodWant to make an impact?This is an OVERNIGHT position, on a 2/2/3 schedule: 6pm-6:30am, 2 nights ON, 2 nights OFF, 3 nights ON, 2 OFF. Every other weekend, OFF: Sat, Sun, & Mon The position is responsible for overseeing and keeping records of all shipping and receiving. They may also update inventory records and compile monthly or weekly reports for management teams. ***Bulk Receiving will be the primary duty, Clerk secondary.***Ways you will make a differenceReceive and process material orders on a daily basis, including accepting deliveries, labeling them and distributing packages and letters internally. Coordinate deliveries to customers and clients on a daily basis, including boxing goods, addressing packages, and staying in contact with shipping companies. Maintain the company stockroom by cleaning, organizing, and labeling items in storage on a regular basis. Keep records of goods that have been shipped and received, preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for supervisors. Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by boxing and lifting items as necessary and operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large items. Schedule large shipments and coordinate logistics to ensure that there is enough storage space for incoming items and personnel on hand to manage incoming shipments. Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and clients who are receiving goods.Skills that will make you successfulExperiences that will support your successHigh school diploma or GED equivalent Previous order entry/data entry experience required Experience with spreadsheets or database software such as Microsoft Excel required SAP/WMS system experience required; MAXIMO experience a huge plus! 2 years of experience working in a warehouse setting (shipping/receiving/logistics) (required) At least one year of lead/supervisory experience in a warehouse setting (preferred) Ability to use an RF Scanner (required)PandoLogic.
