We are seeking a CSR/Router/Shipping Coordinator to efficiently manage order routing, scheduling outbound loads, and updating shipping schedules daily. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate order status updates in our Warehouse Management System, create necessary shipping documents, and distribute vendor compliance requirements to the team. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will respond to sales and customer inquiries promptly and attend team meetings to share innovative ideas. Prior experience in a shipping department and familiarity with the AS400 system are preferred. This position will ensure that orders are shipped timely, meeting all retail compliance guidelines. Order Management:
- Route orders timely via customer and/or carrier websites.
- Schedule outbound loads for pick-up.
- Update Shipping Schedules daily.
- Update the Warehouse Management System with the status of orders.
Documentation:
- Create Bills of Lading and Pull Sheets as needed.
Compliance and Accuracy:
- Distribute vendor compliance requirements and ensure all teams understand their shipping roles.
- Review Daily Dock Check for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
Communication:
- Respond to all sales and customer inquiries within two hours via email and/or telephone.
- Attend all team meetings and proactively contribute innovative ideas.
Operational Support:
- Support all operational and administrative needs related to serving our customers.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a shipping department preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent accuracy with entering data
- Prior experience using AS400 system
