Job Summary

Responsible for coordination and completion of all shipping at branch/warehouse.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method
• Recording shipped items
• Complete / review of all shipping invoices to verify through freight log.
• Monitors shipping documentation process and compliance including monitoring shipping regulations and ensuring compliance with changes and new requirements.
• Participates in the development and implementation of shipping compliance processes and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with U.S. shipping regulations with regard to proper classification, valuation, origin rules, free trade agreements, documentation and recordkeeping
• Monitors and resolves daily shipping compliance issues and questions.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years shipping / warehouse experience
• Requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
• Works under limited supervision for routine situations.

Pay: $15.06-$20.08/Hr.
