Job Description In this Shipping Coordinator/Operations Administrator position, as in all positions with Amcor Rigid Packaging, the co-worker is responsible for the safety of himself/herself and fellow co-workers. Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Ensure that truck drivers wear proper PPE if they enter the plant Monitor stock available for shipments to ensure on time, in full deliveries Create deliveries from orders in SAP Schedule shipments in Mast portal for various Amcor plants according to established Mast delivery guidelines Send communications to plants on upcoming shipments Coordinate dock appointments with fillers when necessary Generate and fill out BOL, manifest, shipping inspection, and customs' paperwork as needed, and generate COCs for shipment Request moves of in-park shipments through YMS portal Coordinates other shipments, both LTL and FedEx, as necessary for special projects and stock transfers to other plants Communicate with freight companies and drivers regarding shipments Complete ASN for shipments daily to allow invoicing Enter raw material receipts into SAP. Send receiving files to the materials manager. Maintain shipping and receiving logs and ensure truck drivers are signed in and out of FMS at appropriate times Other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the team Must be committed to providing our customers a product that is safe and meets specifications, regulations and statutory requirements.
