Learn more at .Responsibilities:Responsible for ensuring all deliveries are loaded properly and shipped in a timely manner to meet the project demands per daily production scheduleCreate accurate Bill of Lading for all loads to outside vendors and jobsites for Rowley locationCoordinate with Purchasing to fulfill shop orders to meet required date on siteCoordinate sequence of shipping itinerary and special delivery criteria with assigned CIC Project ManagerCoordinate trucking manpower (CIC and outside Drivers) on all deliveries while adhering to DOT code requirements and restrictionsKnowledge road trucking codes and restrictions of New England states and New YorkTrack location of all CIC owned and leased trailers, ensure annual inspections are currentSecure trucking permits for over-sized load as requiredMaintain organized, clean and safe workspaceQualifications:Ability to safely operate forklift, pallet jack and two-wheel hand cartAble to read erection, shop detail drawings and Bill of MaterialHighly organized with solid critical thinking skills able to consider situation and make swift decisions with low consequenceExcellent communication skills, able to work with others in a fast-paced production focused environmentComfortable with using technology in a paperless environment, including the use of administrative and production related software programsQuality and safety mindedFive plus years in logistical shipping coordinationPrior experience in steel fabrication operation preferredCurrent/Active Drivers LicenseOSHA-10 or OSHA-30 CertificationBachelor?s degree in a technical field preferred.Experience in the construction industry and/or coordination of safety programs with positive results.Demonstrated proficiency using MS OfficeDemonstrated experience in applied problem-solving tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Willingness and desire to learn and grow.Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the dayAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationPrior experience in the industrial field requiredPrior experience using MS Office requiredTrueBlue, Inc. and its brands welcome and encourage applications from candidates with disabilities.
