THE ROLE: Xylem seeks to hire a Shipping Coordinator for the Du Bois PA Operation. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2-5 years of experience. The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for activities related to the shipping of materials or finished goods in a timely manner. They will ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control and that the shipments coincide with the marketing and operations schedules for our customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Consolidate and ship products by customer and carrier
  • Ensure that bills of lading are properly generated
  • Label all products as required
  • Properly handle all system transactions associated with shipments
  • Position should have experience in coordination of all NAFTA documentation.
  • Preferred experience in International shipping requirements
  • Tracking inbound and outbound freight costs
  • Ensure use of preferred carriers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 - 5 years experience in Shipping functions - preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Customer Focused both internal and externally
  • Ability to communicate clearly
