Preferred days and hours: Tuesday through Friday 7a to 1pSummaryPerforms shipping and receiving operations including load preparationsEssential Functions and ResponsibilitiesLabeling and identifying pallets for easy picking of fork truck operatorsReceive rod loads electronically and log in required spreadsheetsReview invoices against open PO's for preparation for shipping manager to receive in MFGProMaintain packaging and insulation spreadsheets for received goodsAssist in blocking in loads on semi-trailers when necessaryAssist with banding pallets in preparation for loading when necessarySpecificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredReading and comprehension skills required; ability to follow verbal and written instructionsAbility to operate computer and scanning equipmentAbility to adjust to changes in equipment and tools and modifications to existing equipment for the purpose of continuous improvementability to follow safe work practices in a manufacturing environmentPhysical DemandsFrequent bending at waist to band and palletizeModerate lifting of up to 25 poundsWork performed in plant manufacturing environment.
