Shift schedule/hours:
  • Work: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday (5:30am-4pm)
  • Off: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday
  • Overtime opportunities may also be available, based on workload and staffing.
Compensation:
  • Starting wage ranges from $20.00 - $22.00 dependent upon experience
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: You will be responsible for the operation and output of assigned production lines which include but are not limited to:
  • Performs duties in a manner that adheres to safety policies and procedures.
  • Pull orders and ensure correct product is shipped to customers.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Receive freight and ensure it is documented accurately.
  • Maintain the warehouse, rotate stock, and organize pallets and scrap efficiently using available space.
  • Be able to perform necessary math for estimating truck capacity.
  • Read and measure with a tape ruler
  • Assist in month-end inventory.
  • Ensure accurate receipt of parcel deliveries and forward those to appropriate parties.
  • Load and unload trucks and scrap trailers.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties, including sweeping warehouse and loading area.
  • Assist with packaging and purchasing functions as needed.
  • Support and assist in scrap inventory and reconciliation.
  • Drive box truck, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workers

  • Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
  • Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
  • Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
  • Produce quality materials to be distributed to customers
  • Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
OUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Reading and writing ability to complete necessary work.
  • Computer skills for entering data into information systems and printing necessary labels.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Focus on safety and quality production
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Physical Work and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand most of their 10-hour shift on a cement production floor. The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.
  • Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
