Job Summary: Oversee shipping clerks, plan and coordinate all shipments with outside shipping companies. Ensure the correct count and verification of plastic cards into sleeves of 500, Ensure that packing and labeling of cards into shipping boxes in batches of 3,000 cards are completed. Maintain proper security requirements, communicate to management and customers as required, and oversee shipment and accountability of product in the vaults. Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of required packing supplies and reconciliation of freight invoices. Job Duties:
- Complete shipments in accordance to customer demands, communicate results with management.
- Attend daily production and CRM meetings, and communicate issues with the team.
- Strictly follow security rules, and other duties as assigned.
- Lead shipping department to include tracking performance and attendance of shipping clerks.
- Verify audits and account for the accuracy of all paper work as necessary.
- Complete freight invoices.
- Complete department KPI and other reports in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
- Accountabilities: Reports to Shipping Supervisor
Job Specifications:
- Work performed in a light industrial setting.
- Exposure to shop noise.
- Required to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Regularly required to stand, reach and move about facilities for 8-10 hours a day
- Physically able to bend, lift, and stand over long periods of time
- Flexibility on schedule (must be able to work overtime and on weekends on an as needed basis).
- Adhering to MasterCard and Visa shipping requirements
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Required Skills and Knowledge
- Import / Export experience preferred
- Basic math aptitude
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Excel
- Logical thought process in problem solving
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong people and communication skills
- Organizational skills a must
- Coordination skills a must
