We are stronger together.Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
  • Safely unloads incoming trucks with customer deliveries (returns and empty pallets) with use of a forklift/tow motor and crane when required.
  • Picks loads from location on floor plan using FIFO principals, verifies and transfers to staging area.
  • Verifies part orientation and torque as per customer packaging drawing.
  • Safely loads outgoing trucks with customer deliveries (finished goods) with the use of a forklift/Tow motor and crane when required.
  • When receiving Samuel Pallets accurately records the pallet numbers and forwards them to the Shipper.
  • Stacks, discharges, packages, tags, and stores finished parts as required.
  • Performs other related duties as requested by Supervisor.
General
  • Complies with the designated IATF16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health & safety and company rules and guidelines.
  • Ensures company safety policies are adhered to and safe work habits are utilized by all department personnel and visitors.
  • Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as always required
  • Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards
  • Strives for continuous improvement
Position Qualifications
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and/or 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Thorough understanding of Samuel Metal Blanking product and part number identification
