Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Material Handler will ship finished product in good condition according to standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Banding and strapping product to skids making sure it secure.
  • Loading and unloading materials onto and off trucks
  • Operating industrial trucks, sit down forklift, stand up forklift, and cranes.
  • Some carpentry required, with building skids/ crates.
  • Banding I beam and columns in bundles and loading them on flatbed trailers.
  • Some computer skills are required when staging products for shipping and loading. ( Wynsoft)
  • Some outside work with unloading pallet trucks and organizing pallet area.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.
  • Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Licensed forklift truck operator
  • Experience with inventory/ Shipping a plus
  • Good computer skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and write English and use basic math
  • Good organization skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Team orientation
