Meyer Distributing & Logistics are driven to perform - come join our team today!The Shipping Processor is responsible for pulling and processing Third Party Orders, including preparing product for shipping via UPS, Fed Ex, LTL, and occasionally our own Meyer Logistics trucks.Preferred Experience for Shipping Processor:EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.EXPERIENCE: Prior warehouse or shipping experience preferred.Must be able to operate equipment.Forklift and Manlift (Cherry Picker) experience preferred.Shipping Processor duties include but are not limited to:Basic computer skills and knowledge of our WMS softwarePull and process Third Party OrdersScans product using handheld scannersVerifies and prints correct labelingPlaces packing slips on product packages or on boxUses banding equipment on product if neededStages product for shipping in proper location for UPS/Fed Ex/LTL/truck shipmentsKeeps warehouse and work area clean and organized at all timesWears protective toed shoes and works in a safe manner at all timesEnsure Box machine and Shipping areas are clean and neat before leaving EODAll other duties as assignedBenefits for Shipping Processor:MedicalVisionDentalDisabilityLife Insurance401K with Company MatchPaid VacationPaid HolidaysPersonal Days AvailableUp to 20% Employee DiscountCasual Dress Code - Steel Toed Boots or Shoes REQUIREDSteel Toed Boots or Shoes Reimbursement up to $50Health Savings AccountTuition Reimbursement Options AvailableRequirements for Shipping Processor:Ability to give special attention to detail required.
