- Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in a computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
- Oversee and/or perform loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
- Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems
- Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
- Complete deliveries by loading / unloading at customer and supplier sites. Complete deliveries by driving company truck (light) or van to customers. Need to be able to pull a trailer hitched to the back of the truck.

- Background in warehouse logistics
- Knowledge of safety techniques and procedures
- Positive customer service orientation
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to work well with other team members
- Forklift certification preferred
