ATS is consistently ranked in the top 10 of all Atlanta engineering firms, with over 1,000 employees and $100,000,000 in annual revenue.Our vision is to become the industry leader in providing expert consulting engineering, testing, and inspection services.We are currently seeking an experiencedShipping and Receiving Technician.The responsibilities include:Initial receipt inspection on purchased items and customer productIdentification of materials and jobs at time of receiptReview and process documentation in preparation for shipment of equipmentPackaging and shipping items according to specified requirements or appropriate to partHousekeeping of Shipping/Receiving AreaTraining:The Receiving Inspector shall have received training on carrier shipping requirements, Quality Assurance System procedures, and specific training on the applicable ATS procedures for processes to be performed.QualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent.Skills, Abilities and Experience:Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Excel, Word and OutlookHigh level of attention to detail on paperwork and equipmentAbility to continually self-evaluate the accuracy of your workAbility to focus on routine tasks in a busy environmentDemonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructionsDemonstrated mechanical aptitude to recognize different types of equipmentDemonstrated ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. as often as 60 times per dayDemonstrated ability to work in a warehouse environment without heat or air conditioningDemonstrated sense of urgencyDemonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environmentDemonstrated ability to realize the importance of the accuracy of seemingly routine tasks and how the successful completion of these tasks is vital to customer satisfactionWillingness to work occasional overtime is requiredExperience using UPS and FedEx shipping software programs is desirableForklift certification is desirableExperience with database management with programs such as Sharepoint or MudCats is desirableU.S. Persons Only: A requirement of this position is access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
