Dapper Cadaver manufactures, sells and rents death and science related props to productions, attractions, events and educational facilities worldwide. Join us at our shop to help people receive products that entertain and help save lives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ship orders to clients via FedEx, UPS, USPS and freight solutions or notify pickup clients.
- Print labels, packing slips and international shipping documents. Log tracking codes and pickups.
- Palletize freight shipments.
- Run shipping quotes and bill clients for shipping.
- Process returns and inspect returns for damage.
- Photograph products for client approval prior to shipment or to document the condition of returns.
- Maintain accurate shipping dimensions and weights on website.
- Receive purchase orders from vendors and inspect merchandise.
- Keep shipping area well-stocked.
- Maintain a clean and safe workstation.
- Embrace a positive attitude in a fast paced environment
- Follow all Dapper Cadaver policies and procedures
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 1+ years of experience shipping department
- 1+ years of freight or international shipping
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good reading, writing, math and computer skills required
- Must be able to pass drug screening and background check if required
Physical Demands:
- Light to moderate physical effort required on a constant basis
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Required to sit, stand, bend, grasp, twist, reach and move about the facility for an entire shift
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Protective equipment such as steel toed shoes required for specific tasks
Work Environment:
- Work performed in a store and production warehouse environment
- Contains any number of elements including but not limited to fumes, dust and noise.
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
