Job Description:

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the Shipping & Receiving Team supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have accuracy, integrity, and the ability to work independently and as a team player.

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Location: Milwaukie, OR

Pay Range: $18-$23/r DOEDuration: 90 Days

What's the Job?

  • Pick, pack, ship, and invoice orders based on printed order shipping list or shipping request.
  • Receive parts and items (physical and system transactions), verify against packing slip or material traveler, and deliver material to proper inventory location.
  • Work with Planners, Customer Service, and Buyers to resolve issues as needed.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and pro-actively identify opportunities to improve processes in your area.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures, including CTPAT.

What's Needed?

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience using proper lifting technique, lifting devices (chains, straps, slings), electric pallet jack, forklift, hand truck and overhead crane preferred.
  • Previous shipping and/or receiving experience highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Navision and 3rd party logistics provider software programs preferred.
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite software programs.
