Amentum is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team for GE Renewables in Amarillo, TX. Essential Functions: Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Keeps inventory of shipping materials and supplies maintained and keeps records of all materials and equipment that enters or leave the facility. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records and reports shortages and discrepancies, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Receives and processes defective items returned for replacement or credit. Routes checked incoming materials, supplies, or equipment to the stockroom, appropriate departments, or other areas.
