Voluntary coverages: Pet insurance, ID theft protection etc. What you'll do: Interpret customer requirement, prepares necessary shipping documents and directs shipping requirements accordingly. Communicate with air and truck lines to coordinate shipments to maximize cost efficiency. Trace lost shipments by contacting trucking companies. Identify that all receivable items are properly numbered and counted to Company's inventory controls methods. Packing slip, part number and quality errors will be corrected by completing necessary communications with Purchasing, Production Control and Accounting department. Transport shipping and receiving items between any departments necessary to conduct business. Coordinate receivable items with the Quality Assurance department making sure that warehouse floor space is used efficiently. Use an EPR (electronic print room) computer to generate blueprints necessary for inspection. Coordinate afternoon/evening pickups with Security. Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities What you'll need to have: Basic knowledge of blueprint reading. High School Diploma or G.E.D. Ability to read and write in English. Must certify to drive forklift truck. Ability to handle international shipments for pickup and delivery. Ability to perform and understand cycle counts. Computer proficiency, ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel. Good communication skills both verbally and in writing.
