Job Description:
Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator at its McKinney, TX location. This position is responsible for processing on time receipts of materials and services and for performing administrative service in support of the manufacturing operations.Spang Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures custom inductive components for an array of industries including renewable energy, solar, medical, aerospace, automotive, and military. Our manufacturing locations include Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix, AZ, McKinney, TX, in the U.S.A., and Xiamen, China.The major responsibilities of this position include managing daily activities within the Shipping and Receiving Department, performing ERP transactions related to receiving and inventory control, and ensuring that all domestic and international shipping and receiving transactions comply with internal standards and external regulations. Additionally, the role involves ensuring proper labeling and quality documentation are included with each shipment, processing returned merchandise authorizations and purchase order receipts, and inspecting incoming products for compliance with requirements. The individual will also coordinate pickups with shipping companies, investigate and document lost inventory items, and address lot and quantity discrepancies. This position requires providing backup and support for the Planning and Inventory Coordinator.Qualifications include at least 3 years of relevant experience and an associate degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
