Position Title: Shipping & ReceivingWage: $17.00 per hourShift: 1stHours: 8:00am-4:00pmJoin a dynamic small shop environment where you'll play a key role in efficiently managing warehouse operations, from picking and shipping orders to handling inventory and driving a fork truck. Enjoy a steady 1st shift schedule with hands-on work in a close-knit team settingShipping & Receiving Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Locate and select products from inventory based on customer orders.- Ensure that the correct items are picked according to order details, and handle with care to avoid damage.- Properly package items for shipping, ensuring they are secure and protected.- Prepare shipping labels and complete necessary documentation for shipping, including handling different carriers.- Organize and coordinate the timely shipment of customer orders- Inspect and receive incoming stock deliveries.- Ensure the accuracy of deliveries by verifying quantities and matching items to purchase orders.- Report discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate personnel- Operate a forklift to move heavy or bulk items around the warehouse- Place received inventory into proper storage locations, ensuring an organized warehouse.- Will need to use basic software to track orders, update inventory, print shipping labels, and manage other warehouse tasks.- Regularly clean workstations, aisles, and storage areas to maintain a tidy and safe environment.Shipping & Receiving Requirements:- Physical stamina is important, as the job involves lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis....@qpsemployment.comIND012About us:QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
