OBJECTIVE: Support shipping, receiving, and inventory operations to meet departmental needs and material tracking objectives. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Shipping
- Support in preparation, packing, and crating of artwork
- Coordinate with Shipping Manager to ensure artworks are documented, photographed, and appropriately labelled at the time of packing, i.e. dimensions, weight, etc.
- Ensure outgoing shipments are complete with all materials and paperwork
- Help with moving & loading crated artwork for transport
- Assist with organizing and maintaining packing material inventory
- Prepare outgoing small parcel shipments (FedEx, UPS, DHL)
Receiving
- Receive Shipments, Account for Items Received, (Track against Purchase Order)
- Document Shipments for Quality Control + assurance, and Document + Report Damages
- Collect + File All BOL
- Track Received Orders in Inventory System
- Delivery of Received Orders / Materials to the Appropriate Location
- Locating lost or delayed items
Inventory
- Support the Inventory + Procurement Manager to support material tracking and purchasing \
- Assist with cycle counts and department audits
- Accurate description/count of inventory
- Address any discrepancies/issues found during check-ins with Inventory manager
- Sourcing new vendors considering lead times
- Price matching with vendors
Requirements TOOLS:
- Hand Drill, Utility Knife, Pallet Jack, Hand Truck, Forklift
- Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Inventory Software
ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Responsible for all inbound shipments and deliveries.
- Meticulous handling of high-value items.
- Responsible for packing, crating, and handling artworks in preparation for shipment.
- Responsible for completing specified documentation of incoming and outgoing materials to meet quality expectations and inventory tracking.
