The ideal candidate will be a skilled multitasker, with previous managerial experience, and a passion for long-term employment in a dynamic environment. This position is a working supervisor role, where approximately 50% of the time will be spent operating a forklift. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the shipping and receiving department
- Supervise a team, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods
- Operate a forklift to handle materials, equipment, and inventory
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the structural steel industry
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to long-term employment
- Forklift certification and experience required
