Position Description:Ryerson has an opportunity for a Shipping and Receiving role. As a Shipping and Receiving employee, you are responsible for providing customer support in order to resolve customers' wants and needs while growing revenue.The future will be made from metal. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.Roles and Responsibilities:Pulling and staging inventory for production ordersParticipate in inventory controlCarrying/moving supplies in a safe mannerPreparing final packaging of material per customer specificationsStaging of material for outbound shippingOperating an overhead crane or forklift to move material as neededCompleting general clean-up and overall good housekeeping as necessaryExtensive computer skillsCommunicate by phone, email, in person, and other means of communicationWorking in a safe manner as outlined during training and using prescribed safety equipment including PPEAll other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without noticePosition Requirements:No formal experience needed.
