ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Verifying the accuracy of description, quantity, and quality of incoming deliveries.
  • Contributes to orderly operation of storage, movement, and handling of different goods, supplies and material to their necessary locations.
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording locations of inventory, and reporting shortages.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials.
  • Track the stock within warehouse and report cycle counts and physical year end counts.
  • Prioritize and plan work activities, manage time efficiently and meet objectives to complete projects.
  • Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages and replace damaged products.
  • Encourages company initiatives like safety.
  • Coordinate material moves to and from work centers and ensures material needs are met throughout the organization.
  • Use problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly solve any issues that may appear on the production line.
  • Move into inventory, supplies and other packages from various locations.
  • Ability to work OT to meet schedules
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Experience with an ERP and Windows-based computer system
  • Data entry and documents such as sales orders, slips, inventory records, and receiving documents
  • Knowledge and competency in the utilization of warehouse related computer and bar- coding equipment
  • Ability to lift objects weighing between 50-100 pounds
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics: experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
  • Forklift Certification preferred with all safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve
  • Team management and organizational skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities
  • Highly organized
  • Deadline orientated
  • Mathematical and analytical skills
