Americhem - Shipping & Receiving Specialist Openings on 2nd and 3rd Shift in Concord, NC Pay - $18 an hour/ with $1.75 shift differential. Will increase with experience Shift Hours: 2nd (3pm-11pm) or 3rd (11pm-7am)Position Summary: The Logistics Specialist verifies the receipt and transportation of raw materials and manufactured products to ensure conformance to customer specifications. - Performs Logistics Duties by preparing and inspecting all finished goods for shipment according to the appropriate product specifications; planning shipments with proper labeling, packaging, paperwork, and transportation of product according to procedures/specifications; receiving all incoming raw materials according to procedure; properly transporting and storing materials; operating and understanding all required logistics equipment necessary for successful completion of assigned tasks; and safely operating power industrial vehicles
- Maintains Documentation by recording incoming raw materials and finished products, verifying shipment orders and lot identification, accessing and entering Oracle data
- Demonstrates Math Skills by analyzing qualitative data; performing mathematical calculations; working with alphanumeric sequences.
- Improves Job Knowledge by attending training and keeping relevant knowledge and skills current
- Demonstrates Interpersonal skills by working independently and with a team; attention to detail; effective time management; ability to meet deadlines; communicating product status.
