What we needShipping & Receiving SpecialistDepartment: WarehouseFLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job SummaryReceives, stores, and issues materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom or warehouse.General Accountabilities
- Carefully and pridefully packs equipment for shipment to customers.
- Creates shipping label using UPS/Fedex integrator software.
- Receives and counts stock items, and records data using computer.
- Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage.
- Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
- Marks stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
- Maintains inventory database in computer.
- Assists in the loading and unloading of large orders from trucks.
- Problem solve.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience
- Must be able to lift 50lbs. Standing, stooping, pulling and twisting are requirements of this position.
